About Us

I’ve been building and refinishing guitars since I got my first real electric around the age of 12. I was never content with what I had, always modifying and tweaking my gear to make it fit me personally. As time went on I started to get calls from players who’d heard about my work, asking me to build or modify something for them. So was born Rademacher Custom Guitars. As a builder, I’ve always provided my customers with the pickups they like best, regardless of brand or style, but I wanted to offer something more, something more personal. Pickups wound by hand just sound and feel better, plain and simple.  So, I decided to start designing and building my own pickups as a way to offer an even more custom sound to my guitars. Since then I’ve gone through more designs than I can count, scrapping a ton along the way and hanging on to a few that sound pretty amazing. The feedback I received from players who’s honest (and sometimes painfully truthful) opinions I trust was overwhelmingly positive and that encouraged me to start selling my pickups on their own, not just as an option in my own custom builds. To all those players, I say thank you!
